IMPORTANT
Attendance at this performance and dress rehearsal is mandatory for all instrumental and chorus students. Performing is part of our curriculum and a major portion of the final grade. Students unable to participate due to illness, or some other serious reason need to notify the teacher (if at all possible) prior to the performance (or dress rehearsal) with a parent-signed note and if that cannot be done, as soon as possible after the concert (rehearsal), with a parent-signed note of excuse. Students missing the performance (rehearsal) without a properly signed excuse will have a make-up assignment given and completed. Failure to turn this in will result in a NO credit toward the final grade.
Please read this and bring back the signed tear-off sheet to the music teacher.
Thanks,
Mr. Roa
Miss Jacobson

I have read this notice and am aware of the importance of my child’s attendance at this performance June 11th (and the dress rehearsal scheduled for Tuesday, December 8th from 6th period to 2:30) and that not showing up for it, without the proper notification, may result in a “0” credit given toward the final grade.
