GENERAL MUSIC:
WORKED ON ADDING INSTRUMENTS TO ALLEY CAT SONG (READING QUARTERS, QUARTER RESTS, AND 8th NOTES IN PAIRS USING LEFT AND RIGHT HANDS IN DIFFERENT MOVEMENT PATTERNS) CERTAIN COLORS TO BE PLAYED BY CLAVES, OTHERS BY SCRAPERS (GUIROS), Blue X'S ADDED AT VARIOUS SPOTS ARE PLAYED BY THE METALS. STUDENTS TO COUNT EVERYTHING OUT LOUD TO MAINTAIN FOCUS BUT ONLY PLAY THE PERCUSSION INSTRUMENTS ON THEIR COLORS.

PERIOD 4:
ROCKY TOP

PERIOD 5:
MUSICAL ALPHABET MEMORIZED FORWARD AND BACKWARDS
EVERYONE HAD TO RECITE IT BACKWARDS OUT LOUD
DISCUSSED THAT EVERY TIME YOU PUT A FINGER ON THE STRING YOU MAKE THAT STRING SHORTER AND THUS HIGHER. EVERY FINGER PUT DOWN IN SUCCESSION CHANGES THE CHANGES THE PITCH NAME OF THE MUSICAL ALPHABET ONE LETTER HIGHER...SO, IF YOU START WITH THE OPEN A STRING AND ADD A FINGER THAT NOTE BECOMES B. BY ADDING A 2nd FINGER THE NEW NOTE IS C, 3rd FINGER IS D AND 4th FINGER IS E.
