CALL TIME (TIME OF ARRIVAL FOR WARMING UP and TUNING):
6:15 PM IN THE CAFETORIUM

DARK PANTS (and/or DARK SKIRTS FOR GIRLS), WHITE SHIRTS,
PURPLE TIES (THESE ARE SUPPLIED BY THE SCHOOL)
MR. ROA’S CLASSES:
HE WILL INFORM HIS CLASSES INDIVIDUALLY CONCERNING THIS

NOON CONCERT:
PERFORMANCE TIME: LUNCH (THREE 20 MINUTE SECTIONS)
PREPARATION TIME: 4TH PERIOD

1.      ALL PERFORMING STUDENTS WILL BE EXCUSED FROM THEIR NORMAL PERIOD 4 CLASS and 
MEET IN THE CAFETORIUM FOR SET-UP/REHEARSAL

2.      NOTICES WILL BE SENT TO ALL PERIOD 4 TEACHERS INFORMING THE TEACHERS 
OF STUDENTS MISSING 4TH PERIOD
a.       ALL STUDENTS MISSING 4TH PERIOD MUST MAKE-UP ANY MISSING CLASSWORK

3.      ALL PERFORMING STUDENTS WILL HAVE LUNCH and 
CAN BUY THEIR LUNCH STARTING THE LAST 15 MINUTES OF 4TH PERIOD

4.      SEATING CHART FOR THE CONCERT: PRE-ARRANGED BY EACH TEACHER
a.      MISS JACOBSON’S CONCERT SEATING CHART WAS POSTED LAST WEEK
b.      CHAIRS, STANDS, ETC. WILL BE PRE-SET UP PRIOR TO THE PERFORMANCE BY WEDNESDAY

5TH PERIOD:
1.      STUDENTS GO TO 5TH PERIOD AS USUAL
2.      ALL INSTRUMENTS (AFTER BEING PUT BACK IN CASES) WILL BE LEFT IN THE CAFETORIUM 
IN PREPARATION OF THE EVENING CONCERT

a.      ALL MUSIC IS ARRANGED BY ORDER IN BOOKLETS

b.      THERE IS ONE BOOKLET PER PAIR OF STUDENTS

c.      GREY COVERED BOOKLETS ARE FOR PERIOD 4/BLACK COVERED FOR PERIOD 6

d.      NO ONE IS TO REMOVE THE MUSIC FROM THE BOOKLETS

e.      NO ONE IS TO WRITE ON THE ORIGINAL MUSIC

f.       STUDENTS MAY USE THEIR PERSON MUSIC INSTEAD OF THE BOOKLETS IF THEY WISH

***PLEASE REMEMBER THAT PERFORMANCE AT THIS CONCERT IS MANDATORY and PART OF THE FINAL GRADE.  ANY STUDENT NOT PARTICIPATING MUST HAVE A PARENT (OR GUARDIAN) SIGNED NOTE OF EXCUSE OR THE FINAL GRADE WILL BE LOWERED.  ANY STUDENT MISSING THE PERFORMANCE WITHOUT A PROPER EXCUSE CAN MAKE UP THE LOWERING OF THEIR GRADE BY ARRANGING WITH THE TEACHER (IT IS UP TO THE STUDENT TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THE TEACHER CONCERNING THIS) TO PREPARE A REPLACEMENT ASSIGNMENT.
