For Advanced Strings

From Granada (Period 1) and Hillview (Period 6)

(VIOLINS, VIOLAS, CELLOS, BASSES, GUITARS)

In preparation for our scheduled winter concert for December 12^th at Granada Middle School, where we will be combining the advanced strings from both schools, this added concert is a way to have all the advanced strings get a chance to work together while at the same time performing in a beautiful venue and helping collect food and supplies for the homeless.

Transportation to this event is provided by parents

(If some students have trouble getting transportation some parents may volunteer to car pool.)

      DIRECTIONS:

2.       Right on Norwalk Blvd (north)

(This street becomes Workman Mill Road)

4.        Drive past Rose Hills Cemetery and Rio Hondo College

5.       A road splits at the church; stay on the right

6.       Parking is first driveway on the left

MUSIC STANDS and CHAIRS WILL BE PROVIDED

What to bring:

1.      Instrument (violin, viola, cello, guitar)

(The basses will be transported for the students)

2.     Music

                                                                                           What to wear:

1.      Boys: Long dark pants/white shirt

2.     Girls: Long dark pants or long or short dark skirt/white blouse or shirt
