How to Make A Percussion Instrument STUDENT WORK PERIOD 2

What You Need


  • empty water bottle
  • chopstick
  • duct tape
  • rice or beans



Step 1

Make sure the water bottle is clean



Step 2

Put beans or rice in the water bottle



Step 3

Close the cap on the water bottle



Step 4                                                       

Put duct tape on the water bottle



Step 5

Use the chopstick to scrape the ridges on the water bottle



Step 6
Have fun with this project

Hey guys!
I’m going to tell you how to make a “Coffee Can Drum”  

                                         INGREDIENTS
  • COFFEE CAN SIZE OF YOUR CHOICE                                                
  • 1 LARGE BALLOON
  • FABRIC, GLUE, AND DECORATIONS IF YOU WANT
  • AND SOMETHING TO HIT IT WITH, PENCIL, SPOON, CHOPSTICKS


             NOW LETS MAKE A COFFEE CAN DRUM!
ONCE YOU HAVE YOUR COFFEE CAN, GET YOUR BALLOON  AND STRETCH OUT THE MOUTH PIECE. PUT IT OVER THE OPEN SIDE OF THE COFFEE CAN.  NEXT, MAKE SUPER COOL BY PUTTING SOME FUN DECORATIONS ON IT. ONCE YOU’RE DONE WITH THAT, GET SOME PENCILS AND ENJOY YOUR NEW FUN PERCUSSION INSTRUMENT!

step 1: get a toilet paper tube
step 2: poke a hole in it
step 3: get wax paper
step 4: draw a circle in the wax paper
step 5: cut it out
step 6: put the wax paper over the toilet paper tube
step 7: get an elastic rubber band and wrap it around the paper
step 8: poke a hole in the toilet paper tube
step 9: blow into it


My instrument is a kazoo. You play it by blowing into it. This is a nice and easy instrument. There are only 8 steps.

Now I will show you guys how to make a homemade drum set out of a box and soda cans!

Ingredients
one shoe box
5 soda cans
Elmers glue
any color paint
paint brush
scissors


How to Make the Instrument
step 1) first you cut 5 holes for the soda cans

step 2) next you need to glue in the 5 soda cans into the shoe box

step 3) paint the shoe box

step 4) let paint and glue dry

Now we are done !!! Have fun playing!!!

You have to have a plastic bowl, rice, and a plastic cover.

First you need to get the bowl.
Then you will have to put the uncooked the rice in the bowl.
After you put the rice in the bowl you need the plastic cover over the bowl.
You will have to get some sticks then bang the the sticks on the plastic covering

Now you have your drum.
