WHOLE STEPS (fingers apart)

HALF STEPS (fingers touching-feeling the skin of  consecutive fingers)





FIRST POSITION ONE OCTAVE MAJOR SCALES ON THE VIOLIN ARE COMBINATIONS  OF THE SAME FINGER PATTERN REPEATED TWICE ON TWO CONSECUTIVE (NEIGHBORING) STRINGS
