Our instrument is classified as a shaker. We named it Jessica. When you play Jessica you are supposed to shake it. When you shake it, it makes a rattling noise.

How To Make The Hannah
Montana Bananna Scwama
First : You get a empty big water bottle and then cut with a sharp object ⅓ of the top. After that cut the sides with a knife for making a guiro noise. Next you but beans or rice at the bottom of the carton with nails glued to the bottom. Last you well get a paper plate at the bottom covering the rice and beans and glue it to the sides.
Our instrument is half shaker/half scarper and can be used in two ways: as a shaker or a scraper.This instrument can be used in the back of an orchestra.
